Application engineering
Oils, additives, cleaners and related technical liquids can differ in flow, foaming, chemical compatibility and pack size even within one production area.
List every liquid, its operating temperature and any compatibility or ventilation consideration. Products with materially different properties may need separate paths or cleaning procedures.
Rigid bottles, larger containers, screw caps, pumps and triggers place different demands on filling height, support and closure application.
Nozzle shut-off, container positioning, conveyor stability and access for cleaning should be considered where product drips or residues could affect later stages.
Use filling machinery for product-path selection, capping machinery for closure handling and end-of-line planning for dispatch packs.
Include the smallest and largest containers, the least stable bottle, each closure family and products representing the widest flow range. Show the usual production sequence so compatibility, spill control and clean-down can be reviewed before layout decisions are made.

Application evidence
Oils, additives, cleaners and other automotive products can differ in viscosity, chemical behaviour, pack mass and closure design.
Provide the product safety and handling information needed for an application review, together with the real container and closure. Product-contact materials, seals, hoses and cleaning boundaries must be confirmed for the actual formulation rather than assumed from an industry label.
Filled-container mass and handle geometry can also affect conveying, guide pressure and label placement. Include filled packs in transfer and downstream trials where their behaviour differs from empty containers.
Filled automotive containers should be used because mass, centre of gravity, sidewall behaviour and conveyor pressure can differ significantly from empty-pack handling. The filled state can expose leaning, guide contact, transfer and labelling issues that are not visible with empty samples.
One filler may run products with different flow behaviour when the measurement method, product supply, nozzle, seals, cleaning and recipe range suit both products. Confirm the extremes with product trials and define the changeover boundary; do not assume one liquid represents the other.
