Why does container-neck cleanliness matter in cosmetic filling?

Container-neck cleanliness can affect closure seating, label or decoration appearance and the presentation of the finished cosmetic pack. Define the acceptable result and observe whether product reaches the neck during nozzle withdrawal, conveyor movement or capping.

Can lotion pumps and trigger closures be fed automatically?

Pumps and trigger closures can be automatically presented in some applications, but long dip tubes, asymmetric heads, flexibility and tangling make component-specific trials essential. Provide production components and define the required final orientation before selecting the feeding method.

Creams, gels and lotions should be reviewed using viscous-product filling criteria, including temperature, stringing, air and clean nozzle release. A lotion pump or dispenser then adds dip-tube insertion, actuator protection and final orientation requirements.

Trigger and pump capping machinery should be trialled with final filled bottles because product on the neck, bottle flexibility and filled weight affect seating and stability.
